On 28th. April, 2005, the Ontario Film Review Board stickers for On The Couch were delivered. So, it's finally legal to sell the DVDs in Canada.

21st. April, 2005

Tom Bianchi's 2-disc DVD set On The Couch obtained its formal review certificate from the Ontario Film Review Board, making it possible to sell the DVDs in Canada for the first time. Ontario 'stickers' are required for the DVDs and they have been ordered. The stickers are anticipated to arrive the week of the 29th. March, allowing us to ship DVDs to Ontario as soon as they arrive.

On The Couch debuts at number 36 on the Top 50 Gay Rentals chart.

On Thursday, 10th. March, 2005, Tom Bianchi's 2-disc DVD set On The Couch won Best Alternative Release at the GAYVN Awards 2005! Tom Bianchi .ca is very proud to be the national distributor for this remarkable film, and very proud of the models who contributed to the DVDs. Thanks, guys, and congratulations.

Nu Vu Media obtains Federal distribution licence. This means that the On The Couch 2-disc DVD set can now be submitted to the Canadian Film Review Boards for assessment. Each province must review the DVD before it can be sold in that province.

GayVN Awards 2005 nominations were released today, and On The Couch 2-disc DVD set was a nominee for two awards: Best Alternative Release and Peter for Best Solo Performance

Tom Bianchi’s On The Couch, Toronto will make its world premiere at the prestigious Inside Out Lesbian and Gay Film and Video Festival on May 28, 2004. Chosen from hundreds of entries, On The Couch Toronto will be the focus of a major fund-raising drive by the board and directors of Inside Out at an exclusive after-party hosted by the O'Connor Art Gallery. Festival director Scott Ferguson, when asked about the controversial inclusion of this highly erotic documentary stated: “Bianchi’s personal style as he photographs the boys is mesmerizing to watch. A master of his trade, he is able to create a trusting and comfortable atmosphere for his models. On The Couch offers a voyeuristic glimpse behind the lens of one of the world’s most successful and respected photographers of the male form.”
